Attending MuSA 2017 in Karlsruhe for the next few days as I am presenting a paper regarding awkward user interfaces.

Day Zero featured a single concert which included a number of interesting works. Particularly relevant performances to my interests,

Sisters, bowing to each other by Elina Lukijanova that included an interesting visual spectacle based around a Disklavier.

Les Corps Solitaire by Luca-Gillian Tur with an interesting use of club like gestures within a more constrained structure. (In all honesty I really wished it would have some big club beats.)

la fleur by Jia Liu, featuring a Pipa, was also really interesting.
